At the end of the 1960s, Aslan made the bold choice to give Marianne the features of Brigitte Bardot. Popular with the French, Bardot became the first personality to embody Marianne. The bust of Marianne has been a part of official buildings, like the three words "Liberté Égalité Fraternité" and the three colors of the blue, white and red flag, and has been changing with history and fashion since 1789.
