This portrait of Niki de Saint Phalle, the beautiful rebel, revolves around the artist's little known "architect's dream", which underpins all of her works.
Present in her beginnings, it comes into its own through the creation of monumental gardens, which the artist built from the 1970s onwards in Italy, California, Jerusalem... Through these, Niki de Saint Phalle pursues an ultimate aim: "to delight the heart and the eyes to make people happy".
This exceptional tour, which you can discover with direction from the artist's own voice, is enriched with numerous and largely unedited archive footage.
Louise Faure and Anne Julien are directors. They have already made together the documentary « les Bonnie & Clyde de l'art » (on Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely)
