A colorful little monograph.
In the wake of her "Autour des musées" collection, Marie Sellier presents Mon petit Matisse, a series of monographs on painters aimed at a young audience.
In twenty works, she traces the career of the painter (1869 - 1954).
Throughout his life, he traveled in search of the sun. He went from the south of France to Algeria, from Morocco to Spain, from Italy to Tahiti. His paintings are filled with flowers, oranges and pomegranates, sunny windows, oriental carpets, dancers and beautiful women from elsewhere.
