From their planet, the Martians watch the moon with concern. Why is it shrinking? The Earth is in danger because, without its satellite, it is in danger of disappearing. Earthlings, who see only one part of the Moon: its luminous face, do not seem to be aware of the danger. A rescue mission is decided.
The Martians count on the help of de Brageac, whom they believe to be a direct descendant of Cyrano de Bergerac, the famous writer specializing in travel to the Moon. This is the beginning of a great adventure to save the Moon but also the Earth. Poetic and full of humour, this story is also a critical fable about the modern world.
Enamelled with scientific, artistic and literary references, this comic strip offers a double reading associating the adventures of adventurers with numerous nods to the classics of our culture.
