Marin Montagut
Marin Montagut, a young illustrator with a refined and colourful graphic design, has developed a poetic and refined universe populated by rare objects: illustrated plates, drawing boards, decorative porcelain...
For the Palace of Versailles, he imagined a version of his famous "Bonjour Paris" design and drew a line reproducing small objects - teapot, dog, shoes, Marie-Antoinette's extravagant hairdo - in pastel colours whose charm works immediately.
La Charentaise
Charentaise was born in the 17th century from the felts used to dry paper in Charente's paper mills. It takes the form of a comfortable felt slipper, filled with wool with a pressed wool sole.
Known as "the silent one", this slipper was worn by the valets at the court of Louis XIV to avoid hearing them in the corridors of Versailles. For the RMN - Grand Palais, La Charentaise-Tcha makes a historical wink by decorating the famous slipper with a sun. This is a production made in France 100% in Charente.
