The adventures of Cumulo & Réséda at the Grand Palais

Meet Cumulo, a cloud who lives at the Grand Palais. The Grand Palais is so big that he can come and go from the Nave as he pleases. Together with his friend the bee, they explore their Grand Palais. But why is the bee called Réséda? It's because she loves to gather pollen from réséda flowers, a plant that gave its name to the green colour of the Grand Palais.
Looking at the sky and the clouds from the nave of the Grand Palais is quite an experience. To bring this dreamlike experience to life for young and old alike, the GrandPalaisRmn invited the artist Giselle & Rose to imagine and draw some of the adventures of Cumulo & Réséda at the Grand Palais.
Behind the name Giselle & Rose is Esther Roussel, a children's artist and illustrator who graduated from the Valenciennes School of Art and Design and is passionate about children's books and comics. She has created a magical world populated by birds, clouds and animals that come to life with a few strokes of the pen and expressive, endearing eyes. She regularly collaborates with children's clothing brands, while also creating her own small stationery editions and a fanzine.
