As the first stations of the Grand Paris Express are coming to an end, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine (Centre for architecture and heritage) and the Société du Grand Paris are presenting, under the leadership of Dominique Perrault, Francis Rambert and Jean-Marc Hofman, a new exhibition devoted to the metro, its history and the urban transformations linked to it.
Intended for a wide audience, the exhibition catalogue is designed as a beautiful book, which is spread out in as many stages and stations. It takes up in depth the content of the exhibition's itinerary, while weaving new links between different issues and reorganizing the order in which thematic issues appear. Resolutely multidisciplinary, it will give a large place to the relationship with the imagination - cinema, painting, photography, illustrations, literature, etc. - and to testimonies - writers, engineers, users, etc.
