In partnership with the Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung in Munich, the Musée des impressionnismes Giverny proposes to explore with "Flower Power" in an original way the power of flowers from antiquity to the present day.
Structured around a rich section devoted to the theme of flowers in Impressionist painting, the exhibition will also address this theme from the perspective of myth, religion, science, ecology and politics. Masterpieces of painting, art objects, fashion or current photographs, and contemporary installations will allow a multidisciplinary and international discovery of the power of flowers.
The catalogue reproduces all the works presented in the exhibition, informed by the contributions of many authors.
