"I have always had a great passion for Korean tradition in the decorative arts. The women's clothing, the patterns that decorate their dresses constitute an extremely rich reservoir from the point of view of the diversity and the vivacity of the colors. But that said, I am just as interested in furniture and ceramics. The good thing about tradition is that you start from something that exists, that is frozen in time, and at the same time can open doors to new things, offer new perspectives. But, I repeat, what matters most to me are the colours, the energy they give off. I don't care where they come from, tradition or nature. Everything feeds me. I absorb everything that comes from the outside, everything that can constitute a pictorial element. »
