Throughout his life, this artist painted works full of colour, shapes and light. His compositions reflect everything that surrounded him: his family, friends, house and, above all, the magnificent landscapes of Provence where he loved strolling about. His richly detailed paintings lend themselves exceedingly well to this collection, in which the child is constantly called upon to find mistakes, colours or other elements, thus activating his or her curiosity and observational skills.
